What Happened? what happened to the kind heart? <br />What Happened? what happened to the angel whom i loved? <br />I thought that she could be mine for all <br />But now i see my dreams from up they fall <br />Once i dreamt we flow very high <br />With only our dreams dancing in the sky <br />I dreamt that my heart would be her only home <br />And i would be her only fellow, with my chest as her pillow <br />I dreamt that i'll beat her fears, that my hand will wipe her tears <br />But now i wake up to the only truth <br />That it was all just a dream <br />Was i that very wrong? , wasn't our love enough strong? <br />And now i'm sitting all alone <br />After my dreams are gone <br />But deep in my heart i know that my dreams are alive <br />I know that part of me will survive <br />I know that i won't collapse against the tide of my sadness <br />And soon i'll find who defeats my loneliness <br />And it is all one kind of a dream<br /><br />Eslam Shawky<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/my-dream-16/
