Sorrow's inside me, how the tears seep <br />Unhindered from my eyes, loss to convey, <br />But through the window glints of sunshine peep, <br />And lift my spirit, softening the day. <br /> <br />The future is now mine, not one to share, <br />I start out looking for a new abode, <br />Maybe there'll be a place for me somewhere, <br />To settle, in some drive, street, lane or road. <br /> <br />A cosy home that's peaceful and serene, <br />Where my poor aching heart, at ease, can rest, <br />Remembering what precious years have been, <br />We two together then.
