there are important bookmarked pages, <br />in my lifes story book <br />pages that I read again and again <br />pages that warrant many a look, <br /> <br />first page is when I met you <br />you swept me off my feet, <br />never had life been so wonderful, <br />never had life been so sweet <br /> <br />and then the page when we were married <br />and settled down to a life full of joy <br />and soon along came my darling daughter <br />followed by my precious little boy <br /> <br />life flowed along happily, <br />joys and sorrows both were there <br />and then the biggest joy of all <br />my daughter for marriage had to prepare <br /> <br />another page so important <br />my son became a doctor and left, <br />brilliance and hard work took fruit <br />woven through his warp and weft <br /> <br />and then the page of our travel <br />to a distant land beautiful and cold <br />God had once agian shown his benevolence <br />showered his blessings manifold <br /> <br />life flows on smoothly on its course <br />.some days are cool some hot <br />another page will soon be bookmarked <br />when my son chooses to tie the knot <br /> <br />so in this book of my life <br />I am absorbed, when I read every page, <br />but few are favourites of mine, <br />which I love to reread as I age, <br /> <br />those are my bookmarked pages, <br />important milestones in my life, <br />milestones that are fondly reminisced, <br />relived by husband and wife <br /> <br />life is nothing, but a book that we write <br />with a pen handed to us by the Lord, <br />its a tapestry that we weave painstakingly <br />with the threads provided by God.<br /><br />Arti Chopra<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/bookmarks/
