suffer the little children! <br />suffer they do, and how! <br />they are padded, protected, petrified <br />as they dangle ‘neath broken bough! <br /> <br />they cannot drink water from the tap, <br />they must wear a helmet outdoors, <br />they must strap pads to their elbows and knees <br />if they want to crawl on all fours! <br /> <br />children carry the burdens of our dreams <br />and crack the mirrors of our regrets! <br />with the cages and cradles, <br />leashes and playpens, <br />chew toys and feeding times <br />they are treated more like pets! <br /> <br />children are no more human beings! <br />children are our pets! <br />here for our amusement! <br />here to fetch our cigarettes! <br />here for our own selfish reasons! <br />here to pay our debts! <br /> <br />suffer the little children! <br />is this what Jesus meant? <br />any parent who lets kids be kids <br />is truly heaven sent! <br /> <br />any parent who lets kids be kids <br />is truly heaven sent!<br /><br />Rev.
