We should take time, <br />To appreciate those who come into our lives! <br />However... <br />Should we stop and worship their footsteps? <br />Even after they are no longer there to make them? <br />I see that a lot! <br />And wonder why some have stopped, <br />Making their own footprints. <br />Isn't that the concept of learning how to walk? <br />Learning how to talk? <br />Learning how to make decisions, <br />And being accountable for the directions made? <br />We should take time, <br />To appreciate those who come into our lives! <br />But living for another <br />In subjective undercover... <br />Is not the process that produces progress! <br />No one is prepared for this movement to become easier, <br />When it's done! <br />But somehow when it happens, <br />It 'happens' and it's done!<br /><br />Lawrence S.
