One means never what is said <br />Meaningless when first is read <br />A is B and B is C <br />But when he speaks, A is Z <br />Metaphor and simile. <br /> <br />Two writes with a blazing pen <br />Tears, then laughs, and tears again. <br />Passion flames in every word <br />To some they're odd, to some absurd <br />In each stroke, heartbeats are heard. <br /> <br />Three is here and everywhere <br />You'll never know what you'll find there <br />A comic line, a philosophy <br />A romance or a parody <br />Creative words and imagery. <br /> <br />Four sits and dreams, and writes not <br />But slowly sifts through abstract thought <br />No words flow, no poems spring <br />She waits to write just one thing <br />From life one crown jewel to wring. <br /> <br />So One writes his mysteries <br />And Two writes intensities <br />Three writes every sort of rhyme <br />And Four just waits and wastes her time <br />Awaiting masterpiece sublime.<br /><br />Sophia White<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/four-poets/
