I was born without my pants on, <br /> and raised within the vaccuum of my childhood, <br /> growing up seems to have only 'happened', <br /> ... so here I am today! <br /> <br /> Those early years were tough, <br /> I guess they were for everyone, <br /> we somehow made it through them, <br /> again, here we are today! <br /> <br /> Some feelings are born of humility, <br /> and some misunderstanding, <br /> many out of a great deal of compassion, <br /> and some are out of selfishness! <br /> <br /> The voice within each child, <br /> reaches to be heard ... <br /> too often... way too often, <br /> nobody hears the words! <br /> <br /> I do not paint life as dismal, <br /> and hopeless, life IS NOT, <br /> how often do we realize, <br /> what it is we've really got? <br /> <br /> It is not gold or endless wealth, <br /> dismiss the thought of youth again, <br /> that is a long - forgone conclusion, <br /> so, celebrate the ' you ' today! <br /> <br /> Disappointment rules the globe today, <br /> Disillusionment is king, <br /> We should rejoice and make the choice, <br /> to be happy ... <br /> ... because that's all it really is! <br /> <br /> NO! ...
