Sifting through these thoughts of mine <br />I begin to wonder what I will find <br />Maybe something that was lost <br />But I wonder what that will cost <br /> <br />I’ve been walking a long and broken path <br />And it appears that it hath <br />Not an end and is only growing darker <br />I’ve passed the insanity marker <br /> <br />Blood flows from every direction <br />It flows across the path like a hungry infection <br />The horror of my mistakes hit me head on <br />I feel like Satan’s spawn <br /> <br />Never again will I see the light <br />Never again will I pick a fight <br />I was wrong <br />Now I don’t belong <br /> <br />I am dead to this world <br />The people here ignore me <br />I feel like im being swirled <br />Around in a black sea <br /> <br />All I know is torment <br />And the never ending pain <br />But not to the greatest extent <br />I wish I could feel the rain <br /> <br />Upon my face <br />I wish I could run <br />From this desolate place <br />Back to where everything begun <br /> <br />So that I might change it all <br />And stop my continuing fall<br /><br />blood red angel<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/broken-path-of-insanity/
