You toss and turn in your sleep <br />Having the same nightmare one wants to conquer <br />and beat. <br />Swift images appear in your mind. <br />Dragons, <br />Monsters, <br />Omens, <br />Mobsters, <br />Leading to a path with the word <br />'Death' written on a sign. <br />The sign is blind to the necked eye <br />One tries to find what was lost in the concept of <br />having a piece of mind, <br />For time is not on your side. <br />As you began to move back, <br />You feel the attack of breathe you seem to lack. <br />Your heart begans to pound with no arthymic <br />sound <br />Yet, the terror paralyzes you to the core with no <br />notions of facts. <br />Fog whispers through the dark <br />Leaving a form of a humans mark. <br />Your feet begans to feel like water soaked in dried <br />sand <br />Only to look up and see a vision of the ' Candy Man'.<br /><br />Tiffany Saxon<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/candy-man/
