As we approach this Christmas season <br />It’s time to take time, and reason <br />That on the table will appear <br />A feast for all to share. <br /> <br />In the center midst the fowl and fish <br />You’ll find quite another dish <br />From our friend the porker who can’t be here <br />For there’s a ham (not volunteered) . <br /> <br />Given up, (we trust) <br />With the thought that we must <br />Enjoy the best the larder can offer <br />This smoked and salted leg, sans trotter. <br /> <br />Yet there is another, Ivor Hogg comes to mind, <br />Whose poetry you will find, <br />Gracing the pages of the Internet <br />On topics you haven’t discovered yet. <br /> <br />Spreading the word that fact or fiction <br />Is only the matter of one’s own opinion. <br />So as you approach this holiday <br />Read and enjoy what he has to say! <br /> <br />(As you push back from the Christmas table.) <br /> <br />s<br /><br />Sidi J.
