A lemon's sour, <br />Not bitter as you exclaim <br />So the fruit makes you pucker <br />And for that there is no shame. <br /> <br />When it get a little well chosen aid <br />From sugar and ice in a glass <br />It becomes a treat for time spent in the shade <br />And improving that, I'm afraid, the fruits aren't up to the task. <br /> <br />As for the avocado that's so rich and creamy <br />It's enhanced by the addition of the lemon <br />Which makes it a friend not an enemy <br />So best to enjoy, what we've come to depend on. <br /> <br />Changing the lemon would be a shame. <br /> <br />s<br /><br />Sidi J.
