Hope your not sleeping <br />It might go bang tonight. <br />A pretty frightful expression <br />of all the worlds dark sights. <br />I can only hope <br />to be the one you choose, <br />to stay with me tonight. <br />To help me keep on going <br />through the blessed night. <br />Howling wind and storms, <br />creatures screech in flight. <br />So many dark, dark shadows, <br />sneaking through the night. <br />All your dreams are howling <br />giving you those haunting sights. <br />Worms come out your pillow, <br />mice squirm and squeak in traps. <br />Wings of bats are flapping, <br />crazy poets rap. <br />Such rich imagination <br />is always at your call. <br />Why always use it <br />to paint the dream we make. <br />What about the nightmares <br />they also have their place. <br />And which is more dangerous <br />In stealing the reality of the show, <br />the things that we are holding <br />or the ones we want to go?<br /><br />David Taylor<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/stealing-your-reality/
