The colors of Autumn are a sight to behold <br />orange, reds, browns and gold <br />The days are bright and blue is the sky <br />as gentle breezes sway the trees on high <br />Summer is over and winter is nigh <br />There is a sadness about Autumn I've always felt <br />but my favorite time of the year it will always be <br />like a homebaked cookie and a cup of tea. <br />I love the feel of an Autumn day <br />the smell of woodsmoke and apple pie <br />the leaves crunching underfoot, and big puffy clouds way up in the sky.<br /><br />Barbara Stahly<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/autumn-56/
