My Nana and Bampy <br />Who always do thier best to make their granddaughter happy. <br />They have always been there <br />To show me how much they care. <br /> <br />They moved to Llandovery <br />Which is in the Welsh country. <br />They maybe miles away <br />But in my heart they'll always stay. <br /> <br />They have worked hard all their lives <br />To ensure that their family survives. <br />Always putting family before themselves and others <br />Especially the welfare of me and my two brothers. <br /> <br />They have done so much for us <br />People we can talk to and trust. <br />When things go wrong they are the first people there <br />They really are a special pair. <br /> <br />I can always rely on them for support <br />Don't have to give it a second thought. <br />They helped to give us the best start in life <br />To try and ease any misery and strife. <br /> <br />I thank them both for all they have done <br />For the good times we have shared and all the fun. <br />I want them to know how much I care <br />That I am so grateful to have had them there.<br /><br />Hannah Davies<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/nana-and-bampy/
