It ended up in my house <br />From under the door <br />It was loved by a mouse <br />Who slid on it on the floor <br />It was all brown in colour <br />With a dirty shade of gray <br />So I thought I will give it to the donkeys <br />But they begin to kick and bray <br />Then I threw it outside my house <br />But my neighbour threw it in again <br />So I thought I will keep it in the barn <br />But it was brought back in the house by a hen <br />At last I put it in the laundry <br />Because maybe I could wear it <br />But after I wore it I screamed out loud <br />For on my leg it had bit <br />What this disastrous thing was <br />Is just a pair of stinking socks <br />But these socks are worth <br />A tricky stair and ten locks.<br /><br />Risha Ahmed (12 yrs)<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/049-catastrophic-pair/
