Gently, gently, softly, softly <br />The sun bathed the pastures in <br />A golden glow of hope and reflection <br />A new awakening, a new beginning. <br /> <br />The poppies turned their heads to see <br />The wonderful light of a new morn <br />And the breeze sighed amongst them <br />The law of nature uniting all <br /> <br />The fat bumble bees searched for the prize <br />The flowers held in their hands <br />Whilst all around the birds began <br />To fill wise trees with laughter <br /> <br />The beauty of a myriad of colours <br />Dancing in the dewdrops <br />A tiny sound of rabbits playing <br />And the wobbly legs of a new foal <br /> <br />Shhh...
