Wings Of a Butterfly(revised) <br />I saw a butterfly on a flower flapping colorful wings. <br />I reached my hand out to grab the wings but it flew away. <br />I could wander faraway while chasing this. <br />And feel as free as the butterfly. <br />Because it is so hard to catch it <br />Moving away and reaching so high. <br />I just wanted to hold it in my hand <br />And see the beautiful colors. <br />Even if I caught the butterfly in my hand <br />I have to let it go. <br />So I did not wander far and I did not try to catch the butterfly <br />I just let it fly away<br /><br />Meg Harrison<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/wings-of-a-butterfly-revised/
