It's said that hearing is last to go <br />As life's candle loses its glow. <br />So sit quietly and whisper thoughts of how <br />Being together is forever, not just now. <br /> <br />Remember as the lips grow cold <br />How the touch brought warmth when you were not yet old <br />And how so many things you planned to do <br />Will have to wait a while, but mention a few. <br /> <br />Then look to see the one who has been so dear <br />Resting peacefully.
