That sleeping slumber.... <br />Spent tiredly upon thy pined lumber. <br /> <br />Dreams come over thee as fast and as heavy as a theatre's curtain... <br />For thus was certain. <br /> <br />Blackness surrounds me in a sea of darkness obscene... <br />Swirling spinning rooms bring forth a feeling of reeling for <br />thee quietly serene. <br /> <br />Above the tree tops i fly in my dreams... <br />Over many dells and hilly streams. <br /> <br />Fish jumping out of cold dark green waters... <br />Stream beds overflow with dampness and a liquidy brine. <br /> <br />Thanks to mothers and fathers... <br />I had many days of childhood spent happly to be brightly lit and shine. <br /> <br />Many thanks go out to my mother and grandmother and even her long dead mother... <br />I am here to dream more dreams of living and breathing and to hopefully to never die or smother. <br /> <br />Dreams live on in life long gone... <br />Death overtakes father time with nary a skip of a beat or a tired lazy yawnny dawn. <br /> <br />A pretended ending from start to die finished... <br />Time of life is endedly diminished. <br /> <br />As i come to a much fast halted stopping like hover... <br />I'll once again miss this life like a loved starved teenaged lost lover. <br /> <br />Flying finally higher than lowest peaks of summer... <br />No more depressions to last as like a bad dreamed of day'ed one bummer. <br /> <br />Christ appears before me on the horizon... <br />Brightest whitest flowing clean honest robe. <br /> <br />Slightly hotter than the most hottest of stove... <br />I wander aimlessly than a long lost road detoured beyond the <br />longest miles i had did fly and did had drove. <br /> <br />Brightest lights meet to me in spacial dimensions... <br />Of this unexperienced feeling that is hard to explain as mentions. <br /> <br />Time is not ever measured up in Heaven's being... <br />Life is now as a time of not seeing.<br /><br />Michael Gale<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/dreaming-of-heaven-s-space-dreaming-of-heaven-s-race/
