Look! In the sky, it’s a bird, it’s a plane <br />No it’s my dad, he’s completely insane. <br />He invented some rockets which take him up High <br />He thinks he’s a bird and says he can fly <br /> <br />My sister loves reading as much as dad loves flying <br />She loves scary books on how people love dying <br />Books in the closet and books floor <br />There are books on the wall and books on the door <br /> <br />Mommy is simple, to the point and sweet <br />She wants everything spick and span, complete <br />The clothes must be washed and the beds must be made <br />The home work must be done and there must be good grades <br /> <br />I am crazy and hyper and fun <br />I’m always late so I am on the run <br />I love to laugh and I love to play <br />I can be myself all night and all day <br /> <br />Our family might be weird, unusual or strange <br />But one thing for certain, we will never change. <br />We are not like any other household predictable as can be <br />We are just us, our own special little family tree.<br /><br />Arielle Perkins<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/family-tree-7/
