</>TODAY we built Snow Castles <br />Piled oh so very high <br />The drifts of glitter-white ice <br />Nearly reaching the Spring sky <br />There was a hint of Sparrow <br />Trying to make her nest <br />Inside of our Ice cream castle <br />She did her very best <br />The deer were at play as well <br />Slipping and sliding On Thin Ice <br />And a Hare nibbling on some of <br />Our ginger and and all spice <br />We brought it along to warm our <br />Hearts <br />Should the day prove to be too <br />Cold <br />And sure enough we needed it <br />For the Snow Bcame Very Bold <br />So scampered we off in merry mirth <br />Across the fields of white <br />And ran ourselves all the way home <br />Before day became dark of night!<br /><br />Theodora (Theo) Onken<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/snow-48/
