High above the clouds I fly <br />and sigh <br />seeing a myriad roses <br />strewn amongst colors <br />overlapping, exploding <br />into joy- relief outside my world <br />of stolen emblems of illusion <br />momentary joys <br />dependent responses <br />the gaze of deluded minds <br />the nervous laughter, smiles <br />that have no depth and meaning <br />temporary pleasures, <br />vain acquisitions <br />wanton thoughts running <br />into each other, appealing <br />symbiotically, never independent <br />really, chaotic pushing forward <br />of ideas, man-made ideas <br />concocted stories about God <br />without a stain of <br />evidence in the lives of those who speak <br />about things better kept to oneself <br />while searching, while peeping through the keyhole <br />of the room of probable mistakes <br />- ignorance that is poison that brews <br />anger, lust, jealousy, <br />pride that comes in seven boxes <br />divided into three - the inferior, <br />the superior and the peer - with arrogance, <br />the worst dealt with <br />under whose feet breathes quiet, productive <br />Fear. <br /> <br />(11: 25.A.M. 25 April 2007) _<br /><br />Joscephine Gomez<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/where-sits-fear/
