I came home from my cousins one night <br />when I got on the porch, it didn't feel right. <br />Something told me, that this was the end <br />my key wouldn't work, you changed locks again. <br /> <br />As you looked through the window, you told me to leave <br />the words that you told me, I found them hard to believe. <br />You opened the door and put a gun in my face <br />said you would kill me, if I didn't leave your place. <br /> <br />Of all the years I knew you, I thought that would change <br />thoughts like that in my head was really kind of strange. <br />Through all the beating, that I got in the past ten years <br />I turned and walked away that night, with my eyes full of tears. <br /> <br />I find it hard to think of you, now that you are gone <br />if you are being punished then you did it on your own. <br />Pleasure you brought little of, pain you gave the most <br />so if your burning in hell now, I hope you roast. <br />. <br />It's a sad thing to say, about a sorry old man <br />said you tried to raise me, the best you can. <br />but you have a long time, to try to explain <br />why you cause this child, all of that pain.<br /><br />Tracy Rollings<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/you-pay-now-child-abuse/
