As our lips met, <br />I breathed in your scent, <br />I parted my lips, <br />I took you all in, <br />My heart stopped, <br />My knees felt weak, <br />My head spun, <br />And tears rolled down my cheek. <br /> <br />As our lips met, <br />You shivered, <br />You held my face, <br />Your hands tracing my cheeks, <br />You breathed me in, <br />And you sighed. <br /> <br />As our lips met, <br />We threw our bodies together, <br />Pressing against one another, <br />Wrapping each other, <br />I grabbed your neck, <br />Then tangled my hand in your hair, <br />I pushed your face into mine, <br />Pressing you to me, <br />And you did the same. <br /> <br />As the world spun out of control, <br />As everything faded, <br />We were all that remained, <br />Only our breathing was heard. <br /> <br />Finally, when our heads felt light, <br />You parted from me, <br />Just to whisper, <br />I love you. <br /> <br />We waited for so long, <br />For our first kiss, <br />And once we got it, <br />We were in pure bliss, <br />You are my drug, <br />And I am yours, <br />We hold each other together, <br />We won’t let go, <br />You keep me high, <br />But grounded too, <br />And so I can tell you, <br />I also love you.<br /><br />Emily E.
