Save your pity for others, <br />Those who follow and drool <br />Over these few blessed ones <br />Who strut about and make like a fool. <br /> <br />The news, magazines, tv and more <br />Offer a glimpse for those who adore <br />The life style of the famous who <br />Are all glitz and glamour; not much more. <br /> <br />Those who receive each mouth watering offering <br />Revel in beds of lust that has no satisfying <br />Placing them on pedestals to be viewed <br />With no understanding of the person they are dietyfying. <br /> <br />Be they athletes, movie stars, or politicians <br />They are only for the moment <br />And will soon fall from grace <br />As others take their place. <br /> <br />While those who with mouth agape <br />Seek another as time grows cold <br />Never understanding, Pavlov's response, <br />Hero worship, continues for young and old. <br /> <br />Pity, Pity, Pity...<br /><br />Sidi J.
