The English language is totally amazing. <br />Some words you can spell without even sounding. <br />Then there are words with double meanings. <br />That's why I have such trouble proofreading. <br /> <br />Here's a few example of what I mean. <br />Some words are not always what they seem. <br />A Paradox: is a statement made that may hold some contradiction. <br />Well, I look at the word and see a pair of physicians. <br />Or how about an eyedropper...you know what that is. <br />To me it's a clumsy ophthalmologist. <br /> <br />So now you know why I look at a word, <br />and just scratch my head because some are absurd. <br />The English language just boggles my mind. <br />But without it I wouldn't be able to rhyme<br /><br />JoJo Bean<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/english-language-fun-poem/
