(Dodgy Dave Tale) A Hard Boiled Egg In Disguise <br /> <br /> <br />Many years ago starts this tale here. <br />When Dave just married his lovely dear. <br />His father worked in a warehouse with sweets, <br />and he gave his son Dave a solid treat. <br /> <br />This treat looked like a real egg you see. <br />A hard boiled one but solid and sweet. <br />Now you all know David's fame. <br />He's known for playing games. <br /> <br />So let me set the stage here. <br />April Fool's Day was near. <br />Dave would surprise his new wife, <br />with a hard boiled egg that wasn't quite right. <br /> <br />He gave his wife breakfast in bed. <br />Toast, tea and the sweet egg instead. <br />Then he left his bride unaware, <br />crept out of the room to listen there. <br /> <br />She took her spoon to crack this sweet. <br />Thinking it was a hard boiled treat. <br />Nothing happened, she hit it somemore. <br />Dave was listening outside the door <br />(He's trying to hold in his laughs and not roar) <br /> <br />Next, she tries the edge of her plate. <br />But cracking the egg was not her fate. <br />Dave still laughing, had to rush in, <br />and save the plate from cracking within. <br /> <br />The tales not over though. <br />Weeks later for another show. <br />Dave and his kids tried to break the egg up. <br />It took a 7lb lump hammer and 1/2 hour of luck. <br /> <br />I don't know about you my friend. <br />But I would be suspicious in the end. <br />If I received anything from Dave <br />After reading all these Tales that I save: O) <br />(Because they are all true and for you) <br /> <br /> <br />24 May 2007<br /><br />JoJo Bean<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/dodgy-dave-tale-a-hard-boiled-egg-in-disguise/
