Tony picked up a sharp knife from the Diner's table <br />and holding it to the seeded throat <br />of yet another Big Mac...he sealed his fate <br />Too much special sauce on too much white bread <br />devoured over the short life span of forty plus years <br />had made this obese maniac act out his fantasies <br />Ordering super sized drinks and fries with that <br />Was this only the beginning....or the tragic end <br />to what could be or could have been? <br />The flies were busy snatching sparse crumbs <br />from the discarded body parts of the beefy deceased <br />as a single sliced pickle was held hostage to his hunger <br />between two swollen fingers and an oral garbage disposal <br />Savoring it for last as if it were a fine cherry topping <br />Even the accumulative effects <br />of iodized sodium and fried onion rings <br />seemed powerless to bring this monster down <br />As his heinous appetite seems unstoppable.... <br />Perpetually......Fade to Black___ <br /> <br /> <br />(2007)<br /><br />Ted Sheridan<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-sopranos-style-mac-attack/
