I've fought for all those around me <br />never fighting for myself <br />just letting me lose the war I need to fight most <br />but at least those around me felt no pain if I could help it <br />I was there to comfort all <br />help all <br />fight for those who could not fight for them selves <br />I was there to be a shoulder to cry on <br />an ear to listen to <br />and the one to solve others problems <br />no one ever noticed my life <br />was falling apart <br />not even me <br />not until it was to late <br />then I saw what I had become <br />I have seen to much pain <br />seen and fought too many battles <br />to ignore the war I stand in <br />for I can not just turn my back on ones in need <br />I will always help all I can <br />for that is just me <br />I have already lost my battle <br />I have lost myself <br />for I am now here just for others <br />there no longer is a battle for me <br />for i have lost my life <br />i have lost my will to life <br />for myself <br />so now i will stay and fight <br />for as long as i can <br />for how long can you stay <br />when you have already lost your soul <br />lost yourself<br /><br />Scarlet .....<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-lost-my-battle/
