A faint blue, a mild and then gaudy orange paints the sky,
Amidst it all birds flutter in the endless sky.
The other side remains dark, even after the sun has gone down,
Now tell me is this the beginning of another frown?

Heroes come and heroes go, It’s all that we are believed to know.
But after this death will anybody come, Or will this world adorn a lethargic numb.
Numb to the extent of no pain,
Blind, to the extent of disdain,
All our heroes have died and gone,
And in the future they look forlorn.
So where do we walk to,
Now that we have reached the dead end,
We are at the edge of losing all that was true,
Yet or lives, we seek to extend.

The world is shying away from the truth,
No hero any longer is true.
We refrain from killing ourselves,
‘Coz we are in exile, away from ourselves.

rakesh jaddu

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/insane-ramblings/
