The room decided to go <br />for a breath of fresh air. <br /> <br />So, it folded itself up <br />turned itself inside out <br /> <br />& wondered down the road <br /> <br />leaving an empty void <br />(which I was careful to avoid) <br /> <br />being slightly afraid <br />of going into a room that wasn’t there. <br /> <br />And wondering if I wouldn’t be there too.. if I were to <br /> <br />enter ii in its absence. <br /> <br /> <br />Didn’t want to take the chance. <br /> <br />Later that evening <br />the room returned on its own <br /> <br />but hey... <br />...I wasn’t home.<br /><br />Dónall Dempsey<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/-48/
