When I was a child I never was as others were, <br />Always feeling different, the odd one out. <br />I suppose Freud would make me blame my parents, <br />Because they loved me too much and not enough. <br />The feeling of being an outsider has lasted until today, <br />So I create some mask or persona to hide behind, <br />To try and forget the little child that is inside. <br />But I just cannot help but feel alone, <br />And I know I do this myself <br />And I cannot help it. <br /> <br />Little boy lost, <br />Waiting to be found. <br /> <br />©Charlie F.
