See these tears <br />watch them fall, <br />they're all because <br />of this stupid wall, <br />I hide behind <br />so no one can see, <br />what's going on <br />inside of me. <br />I show my joy, <br />I hide my pain, <br />and try to make it <br />through the rain. <br />I thought my mask was gone <br />and I was truly free, <br />but I guess I was wrong, <br />it's forever captured me. <br />These walls have trapped me, <br />I can't escape, <br />before I know it, <br />I will break. <br />I feel so lonely, <br />hopeless and afraid, <br />I wish things could still be fixed <br />with just a simple band-aid. <br />But I have quickly realized <br />that life can't simply be <br />everything I wanted, <br />pain and problem free. <br />But I'll work through it, <br />like I always do <br />and maybe someday my life <br />won't be quite so blue.<br /><br />beautiful imperfection<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/countless-tears-2/
