Grow and double it did, <br />Costing more than just a few quid. <br />A massive disheveled confusion, <br />certainly not a complex illusion. <br /> <br />The city paid a visit on a bright sunny day. <br />Poor Mary could no longer have it her way. <br />Snippers and pliers were put into use. <br />City’s men working hard to pry the structure loose. <br /> <br />The yard was filled with an eclectic mix, <br />like a magician with many hats pulling out tricks. <br />Umbrella’s, tables, shelf units, wood slabs and more. <br />oh yes, lets not forget those rugged old doors. <br /> <br />The neighbors looked on in constant query. <br />What will happen with good old Mary. <br />Is this it, will she leave things alone, <br />or will she start over when the men go home. <br /> <br />Several days pass, the fence is torn down. <br />Not a splinter in sight, clear is the ground <br />The neighbors are worried and await their fate. <br />What’s in store with the next new gate.. <br /> <br />The day of reckoning in late afternoon. <br />A crew arrived, not a moment too soon. <br />A fence of lattice begins to take shape. <br />Pleasing to the eye this brand new gate. <br />Still the neighbors rest unsure, <br />is Mary’s mind now clean and pure. <br />Only the future will tell, <br />for now Mary seems well. <br /> <br />To be continued? ? ? ? ? ?<br /><br />Melvina Germain<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/378-turbulent-crippled-emotions-part-three/
