Oneness. <br /> <br />I know there is a oneness <br /> <br />Sense, feel, intuit that <br /> <br />There is a oneness <br /> <br />About which all things evolve. <br /> <br />Ever at the center <br /> <br />Never at the circumference <br /> <br />These things I have been taught <br /> <br />Ingrained, propagandized <br /> <br />Then I experienced for myself <br /> <br />I realized that all things are one thing <br /> <br />And one thing is all things. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />It is hard to remember <br /> <br />In the rush of the city <br /> <br />In the maze of technology <br /> <br />In the speed of a microchip <br /> <br />But in the silence <br /> <br />The memories return <br /> <br />And so does the oneness.<br /><br />Theresa Haffner<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/oneness-4/
