A few days ago <br />We went to the beach... <br />Beautiful white sand dunes! <br /> <br />My darling oldest daughter <br />Much to my delight <br />Entertained the little ones <br />And kept them both in sight <br /> <br />They buried her with sand, you see <br />Right up to her sweet neck <br />The only thing left out was <br />The hand the seagull pecked! ! <br /> <br />That's right! ! That rotten beastie <br />Tried to eat my daughter, dear <br />And when she turned and saw it... <br />It gave her quite a scare! <br /> <br />Poor daughter dear <br />Threw off the sand <br />And quickly grabbed <br />Her injured hand <br /> <br />Then to the waves <br />She did go <br />To cool the bruise <br />That hurt her so <br /> <br />Some time later <br />I saw her run <br />And thought that she <br />Was having fun... <br /> <br />Until, I then realized <br />She was chasing bird <br />Across the sand <br />And this is what I heard.... <br /> <br />' I'll pluck 'im naked <br />And shave his head! ! !
