Somehow I've been hit. <br />It's not as bad as it seems though. <br />Sometimes things look worse than they really are. <br />But look at all of the blood in my hair. <br />Head wounds always bleed more (you learn that in nursing school) . <br />I should probably put my palm against my head to hold my brains in. <br /> <br />O Man <br /> <br />That's a lot of blood. <br /> <br />Head wounds always bleed more. <br />How did I do it? <br />I didn't even feel it. <br /> <br />This is really gonna disrupt my plans. <br />I still have that bathtub to scrub. <br />Have to make it nice, white, and shiny. <br />I guess I could do it with one hand. <br />And if it drips I could turn the water on. <br />Make it swirl on down the drain - good as new. <br /> <br />I was trying to help bandage <br />Suzie's knee and Bobby's elbow <br />When it occurred to me that <br />All of that warm stickiness was everywhere. <br />Almost comforting <br />Almost like home <br /> <br />But I turned my head so they couldn't see. <br />I turned so fast I made my head spin. <br />Must be from all of the blood loss. <br /> <br />Now all I know is that they are gone <br />And the world is awful lonely when the <br />Only people there are to talk to are <br />Six-foot, talking cockroaches.<br /><br />she is made of cigarettes and magic<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-end-of-the-world-6/
