Each scar tells a story <br />about this girl's life <br />a story about misery, <br />anger, and strife <br /> <br />This one about rumors <br />those are about fights <br />and these are about him <br />and his neverending light <br /> <br />He was an angel <br />an angel from Hell <br />of course on the outside <br />you couldn't even tell <br /> <br />She always thought of him <br />as nothing but the best <br />but his razorblade kiss <br />was her hardest test <br /> <br />No one could stop him <br />even if they tried <br />that's why each night <br />her bloody wrists cried <br /> <br />Each morning she rose, <br />cleaned up the mess <br />got ready for school, <br />and looked her best <br /> <br />He beat her and raped her <br />but she thought nothing of it <br />she loved him so much <br />but he treated her like shit <br /> <br />She thought he loved her <br />but he didn't care <br />she wanted to leave him <br />but she didn't dare <br /> <br />So instead each kiss <br />landed on her wrist <br />silver and cold, <br />so hard to resist <br /> <br />Blood seeps from her wrists <br />each night as she cries <br />cutting deeper and deeper... <br />slowly her heart dies <br /> <br />Her friends pulled her out <br />and showed her the way <br />to a bright future <br />and another day <br /> <br />So here she stands <br />to tell us all <br />of what she went through <br />and how to stand tall <br /> <br />On her way home <br />she did what she should, <br />but all her efforts <br />it seemed were no good <br /> <br />The light was red <br />the drunk driver went through <br />her life had a meaning, <br />she changed people's views <br /> <br />Her memory will last <br />forever in out hearts <br />she will never leave <br />and she will never part<br /><br />An Angel Without Wings<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/an-angel-10/
