This poem said all you ever wanted to know <br />Described the state after death <br />Had the answers to every paradox and more <br />Gave all the details of every lottery result <br />In this universe and the next and the next…. <br />This verse did exist in multiversal context <br />And all it said was not fixed <br />Like a box of infinite scrabble bits in a box <br />Until with a mouse you just clicked on the screen <br />And like Shrodinger’s cat <br />You found I am here alive in my flat. <br /> <br />But the thing is you see <br />They say it’s not me <br />Until you look and observe it’s a fact <br />Seems to me, well, it’s like writing poetry <br />Until you look it’s just a potential choreography <br />Of letters all dancing and free <br />And as you look you can see this poem from me? <br />But formed from your looking you see <br />Not the one with a cat in a flat.<br /><br />David Taylor<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/quantum-poem-with-cats/
