Today... <br />Joy and laughter <br />Does no appear <br />To stay plastered or smeared, <br />On cheering faces too long! <br /> <br />Financial burdens for them bring tears! <br />And materialistic values, <br />Has bruised them severely... <br />In an unhealthy atmosphere, <br />Troubling and feared! <br /> <br />'Oh Dear! ' <br /> <br />Daylight has been clouded. <br />No Sun invited comes near! <br />Disciples of quick fixes split... <br />As accountability replaced takes a shift, <br />With another relationship cleared... <br />Is welcomed and appears! <br /> <br />'Karl... <br />Will you please pass the mayo? <br />And release your grip, <br />On the bar-b-que sauce... <br />Wanted by the others, <br />Chewing on corn cobs buttered. <br />And sitting with dripping lips... <br />As they suck and lick, <br />On one another's fingertips!
