Not a day goes by <br />without me thinking of you, <br />I turn around to have a word, <br />then remember your not there. <br /> <br />It’s hard to think you’re gone, <br />and we’ll never meet again. <br />I can still remember all the days, <br />and the happy moments that we shared. <br /> <br />The loneliness I feel <br />could drive a man insane, <br />oh what am I to do? <br />Will I ever be the same again? <br /> <br />The sun rises in the morning <br />to start another day, <br />and the heartaches begin again, <br />to dominate every waking hour. <br /> <br />Sleep brings no relief, <br />as my dreams are all the same. <br />They are all of you <br />and the things we used to do. <br /> <br />It’s hard to think you’re gone, <br />and we’ll never meet again. <br />No more will we ever share <br />all the little thing as we used to do. <br /> <br /> <br />12 April 1993<br /><br />David Harris<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/it-s-hard-to-think-your-gone/
