I notice as I grow older <br />And I blunder along my way <br />You have to do what’s right for you <br />And you have to do it your own way <br /> <br />I don’t think there is a right way <br />Or a wrong way to go about things <br />Life is complicated enough <br />You certainly don’t need strings <br /> <br />Each day we take care of necessities <br />For some things have to be done <br />Once we do those things then we <br />Might take time out for a little fun <br /> <br />Putting things in perspective though <br />Gets a little complicated sometimes <br />People and ‘stuff’ get in the way <br />Of our priorities at times <br /> <br />And life can get so exhausting <br />But we just do the best we can do <br />Just plug along from day to day <br />I wonder, have you noticed this too?<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/you-do-what-you-have-to-do/
