There were no trees in the forest <br />But you know, they were not missed <br />I know that’s hard to understand <br />It can’t be a forest, you’ll insist <br /> <br />But you see, it’s a petrified forest <br />With only desert vegetation <br />Yes, to see a normal forest <br />You have to use you imagination <br /> <br />Lovely flowers you will see <br />Miles and miles across the land <br />It has its own beauty amazingly <br />Visitors think that it’s quite grand <br /> <br />The buildings too are unique <br />I’m sure you would be amazed <br />The structure is made of adobe <br />Folks just simply gaze and gaze <br /> <br />It’s so fun to experience the unusual <br />Out in nature with the birds and bees <br />You can go where I went and enjoy <br />A forest without trees!<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-forest-without-trees/
