Even though <br />I have had some tough times in life, <br />I can still stop and look up at those bright yellow sunflowers <br />So happy in the sun towering over me; <br />I can still sit by the seagulls and enjoy their company, <br />Especially when they don’t fly away right away after feeding them; <br />I can still think of all the other not so tough times in life I have had <br />As I drift off to sleep in my present home of peace.<br /><br />Connie Webb<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/even-though-5/
