The body says one thing, <br />but the mind is in denial. <br />The clock is striking against you, <br />but the mind can’t accept the fact. <br />To the mind you can do, <br />all the things you used to do. <br /> <br />Age has a way of creeping up on you, <br />making it impossible to do the things, <br />that when you were twenty one, <br />you used to do with ease. <br />At some point the mind has to accept, <br />the body is getting weaker, <br />frailer than it was before.<br /><br />David Harris<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/age-15/
