What does counts most? <br />The heart over mind <br />'or vice versa? <br />Love over security <br />or vice versa? <br /> <br />The young contemplates, <br />Her intuition says: <br />'My heart of course! <br />It makes me happy <br />to love somebody <br />even if he's a nobody. ' <br /> <br />Back of her mind, says otherwise: <br />'What if he's a bastard <br />and can't provide? <br />Will love sustains <br />when the nights become arrid? ' <br /> <br />And finally declares: <br />' I think the heart matters most, <br />for in love the mind is under spell <br />to secure what the heart desires; <br />rather than the mind <br />without a heart.! ' <br /> <br />The mature contemplates, <br />Her intuitons says: <br />' I am sure its the mind <br />that must rule over the heart! <br />I can be more happy <br />with a secured man! ' <br /> <br />Back of her mind, says otherwise: <br />'But what if he loves his pride <br />and accolades more than me, <br />possess me only as trophy? ' <br /> <br />And finally declares: <br />'I will hold on to the mind <br />over my heart, <br />for as long as he provides for me <br />then I will be just as happy!
