You never ever told me dad, <br />that i was any good, <br />although you tried so very hard, <br />i might as well be wood.. <br />For all the good it ever did, <br />i tried do hard to be, <br />the perfect little human being, <br />it did no good you see. <br />Becuase you just couldn't see me, <br />the child that cried inside, <br />i sang and danced and wanted you, <br />to love me not deride. <br />A pat, a smile, a kiss, a hug.. <br />i didn't ask too much, <br />so where ws i to turn to get, <br />the love, the touch? <br />I didn't get it form you, <br />your perfect, harmed no-one, <br />do you know what you've done, <br />that now can't be undone? <br />For all i ever wanted was, <br />a dad that just loved me, <br />regardless of the things i'd done, <br />love me set me free.. <br />Who'd set me free to love and so, <br />in turn i'd love my own, <br />it's hard to do just that though, <br />when the seeds have been sown. <br />It's ad that you don't know me, <br />it's sad i don't know you, <br />and all thoses dirty things you did to me, <br />has claimed the lives of two!<br /><br />I wish i was as invisable as he made me feel<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/dad-48/
