Dear Lord as I pray to you today <br />for help for all of us everywhere <br />to get through another day. <br />There are some in this world, <br />who need an extra blessing from you. <br />Their quality of life is not what it should be. <br />They are look on by some <br />as burden to our society. <br />They are pointed at with fingers, <br />by those showing little or no respect. <br />It is for these individuals that I want <br />you to give an extra blessing today. <br />Those among us who cannot <br />for whatever reason defend themselves. <br />Some have suffered terrible injuries <br />by either life or accident. <br />They need extra care from you <br />to see their lives through. <br />So as I finish this prayer <br />for Sunday my Lord. <br />Could you give them <br />a little extra of your time?<br /><br />David Harris<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-sunday-prayer-12/
