Deception, <br />the cover-up utilized to secure <br />unbridled trust and compassion <br />The mirage is set in place <br />the illusion <br />he sees prey then, he attacks <br />without remorse <br />cause at the time <br />all he can see is himself <br />he sees no wrong <br />But, deep in the soul <br />the truth is told <br />as it begins to unfold <br />The rage is unleashed <br />screaming out ' I'm innocent ' <br />yet, <br />guilty by all means <br />for I know not, what I've done <br />I'm a timid creature, non-violent <br />yet, <br />relentless, totally insecure with myself <br />The beast is set free <br />he's selfish, unhinged, troubled to the core <br />your neurotic interpretation of affection <br />is now intertwined in an ongoing <br />unsavory battle for justice <br />The annihilation of your melodramatic <br />constant plea of innocence <br />will trail throughout history <br />extending the long arm of justice <br />And, <br />an impromptu message to all <br />who, infiltrate, manipulate <br />And, <br />prey on the minds of our young<br /><br />MAXINE P.
