A new razor lies beside me <br />Never been used <br />It Keeps starring me in the eyes <br />Saying 'Come on, <br />You know you want me, <br />Pick me up, <br />Draw me towards your skin, <br />Put me up against your arm, <br />And press down on me, <br />As you drag me across your wrist, <br />You know you want to, <br />So just do it already, <br />she doesn’t love you, <br />If she did, wouldn’t you’s be together, <br />But you’s aren’t, <br />So do it already, <br />Cut yourself already! <br />That’s all you're good for, <br />is using me to ease your pain! <br />Come on! <br />Let all that anger out! <br />You know you want to, <br />so just do it already, <br />And if you cut too deep, <br />its okay, <br />she doesn’t love you anyways, ' <br />I look at the razor, <br />and asks myself 'Should I? <br />Or shouldn’t I? <br />The razor's right, <br />she doesn’t love me, <br />Where is she now? <br />Somewhere not caring about me! <br />I bet I’m the last thing on her mind! <br />So yeah, I WILL cut myself, <br />No one cares anyway, <br />so who are they to tell me it’s stupid? <br />I’m doing this to MYSELF! <br />Not to them, <br />so it shouldn’t be any of their concern! <br />So if I don’t wake up in the morning, <br />just know that I love you <br />even tho you don’t love me back...'<br /><br />Aaron Dacey<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-new-razor-lies-beside-me-2/
